UAE and US to conduct desert Native Fury exercises
Large-scale military exercises Native Fury with combat fire training will be held in March by the US and UAE armies in the Emirate desert.
Thousands of marines, sailors, and senior officers from the US and UAE will take part in the exercises scheduled for March 8.
During the military training, combat operations will be worked out, as well as unloading of personnel, equipment and cargo from ships to the shore. The military will also work out ways to deliver aid to areas affected by natural disasters.
Speaking ahead of the exercises, US Marine Corps Commander Lieutenant General Carl Mandy III said that “the exercises are a great opportunity for both countries to demonstrate military readiness and a deep commitment to stability in the Persian Gulf.” He added: “It is a great honor for us to train with the UAE, the strategic partner of the United States in this region.”
We add that at the end of 2019 in the desert of Abu Dhabi the operation of the UAE and the United States under the name Iron Union took place. About 200 servicemen of both states took part in it.
