Palestinians to begin massive international efforts to draw attention to Israel’s lethal practises

Ambassador Ahmed Al-Deek said on Monday that the Israeli government’s policies toward the Palestinians have been made public by the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which has instructed all Palestinian embassies around the world to do the same.
Al-Deek, a political counsellor to Riyad Al-Maliki, the foreign minister whose VIP travel card was revoked by Israel, also claimed that the Palestinian Authority, which is in the midst of a crisis, anticipated further punitive actions from the hardline government of Benjamin Netanyahu.
Al-Deek emphasised that the Israeli sanctions, which were implemented in response to a request for UN assistance from the Palestinians, would not deter the Palestinian foreign minister from building up the worldwide front opposing the Israeli occupation.
The collapse of the PA or a wave of widespread resentment among Palestinians, he warned, might result from the most recent sanctions.
The Palestinian government’s capacity to meet its financial obligations to Palestinians, including paying salaries and providing health and educational facilities in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem, will be affected by the Israeli activities, he continued.
The Israeli actions, according to Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh, “are aimed at toppling the authority and driving it to the edge financially and institutionally.”
Arab News was also informed by Palestinian political and economic experts that Israel’s harsh actions would cause the government to fall.
They claimed that because of Israeli actions, the government was unable to fulfil its obligations to its citizens, including paying the wages of 170,000 public employees. The authority is also unable to provide people with health and educational services due to a lack of funding.
Shortly after winning the support of the parliament, the right-wing government launched harsh measures. Israel revoked the special permissions that key PA and Fatah figures needed to move around and travel, including foreign minister.

Additionally, it seized money from the PA, limiting its ability to serve the more than 5 million Palestinians who reside in the Gaza Strip, East Jerusalem, and the West Bank.
The extreme right-wing Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has previously promised to further restrict the conditions of confinement for 4,700 Palestinian security prisoners in Israeli prisons.
The PA has relied on two main financing sources since its founding in 1994: international aid, which has lately dropped to 20% of the value of help it got seven years ago, and taxes that Israel collects for the PA and deducts.
The Security Cabinet determined on Friday that Israel will deny the PA $39 million. Additionally, it stated that Israel will reduce the funding it regularly sends to the financially beleaguered PA.
Since November 2021, the PA has been unable to fund any infrastructure-development projects in the Palestinian territory or pay more than 80% of employee salaries.
