Giza’s Desert Road and Bahariya Oasis Attract Major Investment Interest
Through this collaboration Giza Governorate and GAFI display investment opportunities in medical services and logistics on the official map of Egyptian enterprise zones. Governor Adel El-Naggar of Giza and CEO Hossam Heiba of GAFI met to create strategies that would highlight investment options along the Desert Road and in Bahariya Oasis. Through their talks they decided to put these available prospects on Egypt’s official investment map to draw investor attention.
El-Naggar reported that updated infrastructure has boosted the potential for investors to make money in Giza districts. Bahariya Oasis has developed into a perfect spot for both medical tourism and eco-friendly ventures because it has 400 natural springs and many nature reserves. Storage and packaging businesses and distribution centers find high demand in Giza when they serve Greater Cairo via these infrastructure networks.
According to Heiba the investment zone management system from GAFI helps businesses grow by making investment procedures 80% faster. His briefing described the types of benefits companies receive when developing tourism for nature and health while showing that GAFI wants to turn Bahariya Oasis into a medical tourism hub because of its airport connections.
Giza Governorate partners with GAFI to improve business processing for partners who seek to establish agricultural businesses and food-related industries plus tourism and logistics operations. Companies of both domestic and international origin now target these sectors, especially the Bahariya Oasis location.
