The incident occurred on August 21, 2025, during preparations for an evening scene at the luxurious Hotel Danieli, a filming location chosen for its romantic, old-world charm.
On-site medics and emergency responders acted swiftly, arriving within minutes of the collapse. Despite their efforts to revive him, Borella was pronounced dead around 7:30 p.m. Medical authorities have indicated a sudden heart attack as the likely cause, though further examination is pending.
