The Waterfront Project Phase 3 of Kuwait is now underway and it is a significant move in the Kuwait urban development strategies. By the middle of January 2026, the Kuwait Authority of Partnership Projects (KAPP) with the help of the Ministry of Finance accepted the technical bids submitted by investors. This confirmation empowers the Waterfront Project Phase 3 of Kuwait to be in the ultimate evaluation phase and expectations are high that the project will be implemented in good time. The project is one of the major public-private partnerships projects, which are set to turn East Waterfront in Kuwait City into a contemporary, well-structured public space. What Comes Next for the Project
After the technical clearance, KAPP planned the financial bid opening at January 21, 2026. After the review, the authority will shortlist a preferred investor in the Kuwait Waterfront Project Phase 3. The project is located on an area of 384,385 square meters in Sharq and will be built in a 15-year usufruct agreement. Other rival consortia are the bids headed by bids co-led by Mabanee Real Estate Company and Commercial Real Estate Company. In general, the Waterfront Project Phase 3 is likely to promote the development of the coastline in Kuwait, draw in the investment of individuals, and improve the infrastructure of the population.
