Billie Eilish’s ‘Birds of a Feather’ climbs to top of Spotify’s list of biggest songs of last year
Prominent singer Billie Eilish’s ‘Birds of a Feather’ has become Spotify’s most streamed song of last year. The breezy pop smash is the most streamed song on the streaming platform.
‘Birds of a Feather’ is from Eilish’s third album ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’, and has been penned by the singer and her younger brother and collaborator Finneas. The song has also peaked at No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
‘Birds of a Feather’ is nominated for three honours at the February 2 Grammys, including for song of the year, record of the year and best pop solo performance. From 32 nominations, Eilish has grabbed nine Grammys, including for record of the year and song of the year.
Finneas has been the recipient of 10 Grammys out of 17 nominations. He is also the youngest person in history to be named producer of the year at just 22 years of age. The ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ album has also been nominated in different categories.
