Full Price List for Fixed-Line Internet Packages in Egypt After Base Quota Doubling

Egypt fixed-line internet prices

Egypt’s biggest communications company officially announced today 2nd November 2026, that it has boosted its basic internet service. Egypt fixed-line internet prices, Telecom Egypt (WE) took an important step towards changing consumer policies with the forever increase of data limit for its entry-level fixed-line internet plans in Egypt from 50 to 100 GB.

Most importantly, the state-owned provider had the capacity increased without increasing the EGP 150 monthly charge. This strategic shift has an immediate positive impact on millions of low-income households and students who are depending on affordable connectivity.

The massive overhaul is part of the country’s wider economic changes and will underpin the digital inclusion of its populations. The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and Telecom Egypt released the detailed Telecom Egypt WE internet package for 2026 prices as part of the official launch today.

The new pricing model is for the widely used “WE Space Super” tier which offers basic connections up to 30 Mbps using DSL or fiber-optic (PON) technology.

Based on official pricing numbers and pricing regulations confirmed by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA), the new pricing for each month is as follows:

  • 100 GB plan: EGP 150 per month (Doubled from 50 GB)
  • 150 GB plan: EGP 260 per month
  • 200 GB plan: EGP 330 per month
  • 250 GB plan: EGP 395 per month

The middle tier data caps are still very rigid for heavier residential data consumers. The 300 GB plan costs EGP 460 monthly, the 400 GB plan sits at EGP 580, and the 500 GB plan is priced at EGP 660.

The highest end of the 30 Mbps subscription, the 750 GB subscription will cost EGP 925 per month, and the highest end of the 30 Mbps subscription, the 1,500 GB subscription will cost EGP 1,650 per month. Authorities stress that all mentioned fixed-line internet packages in Egypt are without the standard 14 per cent Value Added Tax (VAT) on them.

Enhancing the Egypt Fixed-Line Broadband Market

This is a “must-do” for keeping consumers affordable, according to Telecom experts. The decision directly protects the basic subscribers from the recent inflation and provides them with a huge boost in digital access as well, according to Egypt Independent.

In addition, keeping the EGP 150 price for a 100 GB quota will create a competitive foundation for the overall Egyptian fixed-line broadband market. Competitors such as Orange, Vodafone and Etisalat will rapidly begin to tweak their own entry level fiber and DSL products to match the new national standard, which is dominated by WE.

Users are warned that after they use up their base data allowance it drops to 256 Kbps. The users will have to pay extra quota recharges of EGP 190, in order to restore the original speed of 30 Mbps, which is still sold separately for an additional 100 GB.

In the end, this price cap reduction – a specific doubling of the quota – changes the national price floor for internet connection. The official announcement of the finalized prices of Telecom Egypt’s internet packages for the WE (Wage Earners) class will ensure the most vulnerable segments of society continue to have access to the digital world in a financially stable and strong manner.
