IDF Warns Lebanese Evacuees Not to Return Home Amid Ongoing Airstrikes

The Israeli Defense Forces have renewed their warning to Lebanese civilians who have evacuated their homes to stay away. The continued airstrikes in the region is the reason behind this call. 

Avichay Adraee is the IDF spokesperson. Recently he posted on his official X account, Where he appealed to residents to prioritize their safety and avoid returning to home until further notice.

Adraee’s message stated:” A call to all residents of Lebanese villages who have evacuated their homes for their safety: IDF raids are continuing. For your safety and the safety of your families – do not return home until further notice”

In another post, an IDF spokesperson declared, In the latest round of strikes, Israeli Air Force aircraft targeted Hezbollah operatives inside a command center located within a mosque near Salah Ghandour Hospital.

According to the IDF, the terrorists were using the site to plan and execute attacks against Israeli forces. The operation is guided by precise intelligence.

Before the raid the IDF sent warnings to residents and village authorities, demanding an immediate stop to the terrorist activities being conducted from the hospital. The IDF emphasized that Hezbollah uses civilian structures, including hospitals, as cover for their operations. 

The military reiterated its commitment to safeguarding Israeli citizens while upholding the rules of war.
