Palestine PalestinePalestine is such a tricky region at the moment that any notorious movement is immediately visible to the world. However, one cannot deny the fact that despite whatever goes around the territory, civilians have nothing to do with it.

But despite that, countries are taking tough steps towards Palestine if they are finding anything suspicious regarding their terrorism links. The Netherlands is the one to take a tough call here as it announced that it will no more be proving a Palestinian NGO with aid after it found that NGO had terrorism links.

The Dutch officials stated that they found that the NGO has connections with an EU-designated terrorist group. On Wednesday, the two Dutch officials–Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Minister Tom de Bruijn and Foreign Minister Ben Knapen– confirmed that they had decided to cut down the funding.

As per the letter that was gathered by the local media and also the statements by the ministers, in total 34 employees of the Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC) were shown to be active in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine for 13 years (2007-2020). “The large number of board members of UAWC with a dual mandate is particularly worrying,” said De Bruijn and Knape, Dutch officials.

Till now it was acceptable to help the NGO but last year, after Israel declared UAWC as one of the Six other Palestinian civil society groups as terrosit organisation, things became entirely different.
