Squid Game 2 star Park Sung-hoon exits cast of The Tyrant’s Chef
Popular South Korean star Park Sung-hoon – earlier seen in hit releases such as Queen of Tears and The Glory – is facing serious backlash on social media as he apparently accidentally posted a Japanese pornographic photo parodying Squid Game on Instagram.
He deleted the image soon after. But by that time, it had already circulated among netizens in different countries, sparking intense fury. He continues to apologise for his mistake and has expressed his commitment to remaining a responsible person.
Things started turning south just recently as Park Sung-hoon has officially exited the cast of ‘The Tyrant’s Chef’ – an upcoming K-drama also starring Yoona of Girls’ Generation. Studio Dragon announced that it’s going to be difficult for the actor to be part of the project.
In such troubling periods, Lee Chae-min – earlier seen in Hierarchy and See You in My 19th Life – is in talks to replace Sung-hoon in The Tyrant’s Chef. Sung-hoon has recently been part of the hit Squid Game 2 cast, getting a lot of appreciation for his performance.
