Forbes Middle East conducted an investigation into the most influential women on social media in the Arab realms of fashion, beauty, fitness, and food for the magazine issue that was published in July. Each of the ladies on our list is of Arab descent and currently resides somewhere in the Middle East.

Here are the 10 Most Popular Arab Women Influencers:

1. Huda Kattan

Huda Kattan, unhappy in her financial profession, left to become a beauty artist and established a blog in 2010. Kattan co-founded Huda Beauty with her two sisters in 2013 after she was unable to purchase fake eyelashes.

Today, Huda Beauty sells over 140 items, ranging from eyeshadow palettes to lip gloss, generating around $200 million in yearly revenue. In 2017, the private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners purchased a tiny minority share in a company valued at $1.2 billion.

Born in Lebanon, this Mardinian eventually came to London to learn cosmetics under renowned artists. Later, she relocated to Dubai and began her broadcast career as a sports show host on the MBC channel.

Dubai-based Hayla Al Ghazal, who is 21 years old, is a popular figure on YouTube and the creator of the channel HalyaTV. In June of 2013, she presented the first episode of her lifestyle YouTube channel, which currently has close to 3.8 million followers.

In addition, Al Ghazal is the founder of Hayla Couture, a store that specializes in wedding and evening gowns.
