Assad and Zelensky attend the conclusion of the Arab League conference
The Arab League Summit was cautioned by Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Friday not to allow the region to turn into a war zone while reassuring everyone that “world peace” was on the horizon.

“We reassure our Western and Eastern allies that we are advancing peacefully. The crown prince declared, “We will not permit our territory to devolve into a hotbed of strife.
With the past behind us, “it is enough for us to remember the painful years of conflicts that the region lived through, it is enough for us to have conflicts that the peoples of the region suffered from, and it is enough for us to have conflicts that the peoples of the region suffered from, which caused development to falter in the region,” he continued.

Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, who had just arrived in Jeddah, informed the delegation that his nation was not only engaged in a dispute but was actually at war.
Additionally, he expressed his gratitude for Saudi intervention in the release of prisoners of war last year.
In order to prevent a worsening of the humanitarian situation in Ukraine, the crown prince said: “We reaffirm the Kingdom’s position as supportive of everything that contributes to reducing the intensity of the crisis. Saudi Arabia is ready to continue mediating between the Russian Federation and Ukraine.”
Also on Friday, the Russian president wrote a letter to the Arab League pledging his nation’s continued support for efforts to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian problem.
He said that Moscow was anxious to continue supporting efforts to address the crisis in Sudan, Libya, and Yemen as well as its diversified cooperation with Arab nations.
Algerian Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane, who is leaving his position as head of the Arab League, complimented Saudi Arabia for hosting the summit in his opening comments.
