Breaking News: NBA Postpones Rockets vs. Hawks Game Due to Winter Storm
The NBA has postponed the game between the Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks, originally scheduled for Saturday. NBA stated this game is ponponded because of the severe winter storm.
According to the statement by NBA, “to prioritize the safety of players, fans, and staff due to the hazardous icy conditions in the Atlanta area.”

A new date for the game will be announced later. The Rockets had already arrived in Atlanta before the postponement was confirmed.
Atlanta is facing winter storms snow and ice. Because of heave snowfall road conditions are not safer to drive, as they are slippary. Authorities warn roads are likely to refreeze Saturday night, worsening the situation.
On Friday night also faced power outages over 110,000 customers in the Atlanta area suffered the no electricity. On Friday 4 passengers got injured on Delta Air Lines flight accident during time of takeoff at Atlanta airport.
