Morocco and Spain Sign Judicial Cooperation Agreement for 2030 World Cup

Morocco and Spain signed a written announcement to improve legal connections before the 2030 FIFA World Cup starts. On Tuesday the Justice Ministers from Morocco and Spain signed their deal in Madrid to start getting ready for the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

The two countries agreed to share information and practices to fight international criminal groups operating between their borders. The two nations want to enhance their joint operations and advance digital progress in legal procedures to handle international cases faster. Spain, Portugal and Morocco will form a mixed justice commission that creates special security and legal teams for the tournament host responsibilities.

After Morocco signed this agreement in January they followed the same approach. The FIFA Executive Committee approved the tri-nation bid because joint preparations require such an arrangement. Spanish Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska praised Morocco and Spain as exemplary partners in security collaboration during their recent talks.
