April and May 2025 Teacher’s Salary Disbursement: Here’s What you need to know!

From 23 April 2025, the salaries which have been allocated for the employees including teachers, and other state employees will be distributed to all of them based on the official announcement rolled out by the Ministry of Finance. According to the given information the salaries and the increased new salary will be disbursed for five days.
The teachers can obtain their salaries through the ATMs, various bank branches and post offices that are situated across the country. The Deputy Minister of Finance, Ahmed Kouchouk has revealed that the increased the salary for the teachers will be effective from 1 July 2025 that coincides with the implementation of the new budget for the fiscal year 2025/2026.
What are the benefits?
- 10% – Bonus for Employees subject to the Civil Service Law
- 15% – Bonus for the individuals who are not subject to it
- Cost of Living Allowance – Raised from EGP 600 to EGP 1,000 per month
- Additional Incentive – EGP 300
- Minimum Wage – EGP 7,000 per month
- During the budget the government has announced the new appointment of teachers – more than 75,000
For the month May 2025, the salaries will be issued from 22 May 2025 (Thursday) and it will continue for the next five days. And the arrear due will be given on 8,11,12 May 2025.
