Prayer Times: Major Arab Cities Weekly (Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia) (November 3, 2025, to November 9, 2025)
The five prayers Muslims are required to complete every day (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha) are of essential spiritual significance to Muslims all over the world and they are the basis of everyday worship. With fewer and fewer hours of daylight in North Africa and the Middle East at the start of November, the prayer timetables slowly adjust to the season around the following schedule of major cities: Amman, Cairo, Damascus, Casablanca, Algiers, and Tunis. These are rough times, which can also differ more or less according to the local moon-sighting, calculation technique, and certain neighbourhoods in each city.

Regional Insight
As the autumn season sets in, there is a reduction in the number of days and the time of sunset, and consequently, Maghrib and Isha prayers are called upon earlier. Times of Fajr are also slowly changing to be late since dawn is late. They are usually used in areas where people commonly visit prayer centers or mosques, or use certain online prayer applications that are based on Islam.
Frequent adherence to prayer periods also enables Muslims to be consistent in their worship and be spiritually balanced, wherever they are in the world.
