Au Cœur des Chœurs Tunis 2026: Tickets, Timing, and Performers for the October 25 Concert
One of the most ambitious classical music collaborations in the Mediterranean will take place this Sunday at the Théâtre de l’Opéra de Tunis. Au Cœur des Chœurs Tunis 2026 is a new institutional project which aims to bring together the European and North African vocal culture in a single stage.
This concert, on October 25, is part of the project “Dialogue between different musical repertoire”, organized by the Fondation Hasdrubal pour la Culture et les Arts Mohamed Amouri. Laurent Jost, artistic director, announced today that the performance will take active steps towards connecting the cultural expressions of traditional Tunisian music and those of the Orient with the rich choral tradition of Monaco.
This artistic variety is not designed to “deflect” regional variations, but rather to enable the communication of different cultures freely in a musical tongue,” Jost told the press.

The lineup for the event is also an extraordinary vocal collaboration. A symposium will be held with the participation of the prestigious Chœur Tunisien Salammbô and the international ensemble Les Petits Chanteurs de Monaco.
Celebrated Tunisian tenor Hassen Doss is a member of these renowned choirs. Classical pianist Emmanuelle Houerbi will accompany Doss, who has received great praise for his operatic strength and who recently won the regional competition in Lyon. This special partnership is particularly designed to fuse individual operatic power with the collective, sweeping power of the international youth choirs.
The project focuses very much on the diversity of languages, generations and origins, as Univers News reports. The ultimate aim of the organizers is to use classical music as a universal means of peace, sharing and understanding.
