Al Hilal beats Al Nassr to become Champions of Saudi Pro League, Neymar’s comments on match

Al Hilal went on to be crowned as winners in the Saudi Pro League for the fourth time in five years and 19th overall by defeating Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr by 3 games to spare in a 4-1 victory over Al-Hazm on saturday.
Al Hilal’s star forward Neymar went on to celebrate with his baby daughter and with his teammates on the field and the dressing room respectively. He has been out of the tournament due to injury.
Speaking about the match and the win over Al Hazm, he said, “I feel very happy obviously. The fans are unbelievable. Winning titles is always good. The best thing is to be on the pitch but right now I am happy for my teammates”. He went on to add, “I am feeling good and just can’t wait to be back on the field.”
Neymar has missed out most of the season due to a knee injury that he got while playing a match against Uruguay in October 2023. He is healing and is expected to make a comeback soon for the 2024-25 season but would not be available for the remaining fixtures of Al Hilal this season and also the coming Copa America 2024 this summer. The 32 year old star had appeared only for 3 fixtures for the club before being ruled out due to the injury, having been able to give only 2 assists at the time.
Al Hilal are still unbeaten in the Saudi Pro League with 89 points and have been able to keep their winning streak to 29 out of 32 matches. Their points have only diminished during a draw with Damac that took place last September. Considering that, the team has been able to score 10 goals or more this season with the help of four players only namely Mitrovic (26), Malcolm (14), Salem Al Dawsari (13), and Sergej MilinKovic – Savic (11).
