Tragically, reports of sexual violence have emerged, echoing the atrocities committed during the Darfur conflict and the violent suppression of pro-democracy protests in 2019. The current crisis has seen a significant rise in rape and sexual assault cases, with allegations pointing to RSF soldiers and unknown attackers within RSF-held areas.
