The government decided to extend the holidays this year by a day through an executive order, so April 20 will also be included in the Eid holidays.
Eid Holidays in Saudi Arabia:
For Eid Al Fitr 2023, the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced a four-day holiday for nonprofit organizations and employees of the private sector.
On Thursday, April 20, after work, the holiday will begin. The month of Ramadan, which started on March 23, comes to an end on this day.
Employees in the private and nonprofit sectors will have a long weekend in addition to the typical Friday-Saturday break before work resumes on April 27.
Eid Al Fitr Holiday In Bangladesh:
After today’s weekly cabinet meeting at the Secretariat, Cabinet Secretary Md. Mahbub Hossain informed journalists about the development in advance of the Bangladeshi Eid holiday.
The Eid holidays were supposed to take place from April 21–23 before the executive order. April 20 was supposed to be a working day, but April 19 will be a holiday in honor of Shab-e-Qadr.
The government extended the holiday by declaring April 20 a holiday as well, so the five-day Eid holiday will start on April 19.
If Ramadan lasts 30 days and Eid-ul-Fitr is observed on April 23, holidays will be extended by one day to include April 24.
