Gaza Health Ministry Reports War Death Toll Surpasses 43,700
The Health Ministry in Gaza reported on Thursday that more than 43,736 people have lost their lives in over 13 months of ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestinian militants. This count includes 24 new deaths recorded in the past 24 hours alone.
According to the report of ministry, Since the start of the conflict on October 7, 2023—when Hamas militants launched an attack on Israel—103,370 individuals have also been reported injured across the Gaza Strip.
According to the news report of Al Arabiya, Earlier on Thursday civil defense agency of Gaza reported that Israeli airstrikes had killed at least 10 people. Mahmud Bassal the spokesperson for the agency informed AFP that “around 30 civilians” were injured in airstrikes targeting Gaza City, Jabalia in the north, and Rafah in the south.
The ongoing conflict has had devastating impacts on civilians, as health and civil defense agencies continue to report casualties and damage across Gaza.
