Jameela Jamil to star in Pixar movie
Jameela Jamil, a British actress, activist, and podcaster, is set to star in Pixar’s “Elio,” the 28th animated feature from Pixar Animation, an American computer animation studio.

Disney, an American multinational, mass media, and entertainment conglomerate, announced that Jameela Jamil has joined the voice cast of Pixar’s “Elio.” She will be joined by United States actor Brad Garrett.
Disney has already released the trailer for the animation. The animated movie is scheduled for release on March 1, 2024. The story of the film revolves around Elio, an underdog with an active imagination who finds himself in the “Communiverse,” an interplanetary organization with representatives from various galaxies. Later on, Elio is mistaken for the intergalactic ambassador of planet Earth. He then aims to form new bonds with alien lifeforms in order to survive.
Yonas Kibreab, an American child actor, will voice the character of Elio. America Ferrera will voice his mom.
Recently, Jameela Jamil, a British Pakistani actress, told her 3.8 million followers on Instagram, “GUYS! I am in a PIXAR MOVIE!! A beyond dream comes true and I don’t know how long this luck of mine will last, but I remain so grateful that I get to be a part of things like this. The cast is so talented, the art is so beautiful, and the story is divine.”
Elio is directed by Adrian Molina, an American animator, storyboard artist, screenwriter, director, and lyricist. It is produced by Mary Alice Drumm, an American producer and production manager at Pixar Animation Studios.

Jameela Jamil began her career as a host on Channel 4 by hosting a pop culture series on the T4 strand from 2009 to 2012. Her last show was “She Hulk,” which was released on 18 August 2022. She played the role of supervillain Titania, whom she herself dubbed “the most annoying
