Lily Collins: Emily in Paris star’s engagement and wedding rings stolen during spa visit
Prominent actress Lily Collins’ engagement ring, wedding ring, and other belongings, possibly valued over $10,000, were stolen from the West Hollywood EDITION hotel spa on May 6, according to multiple reports.

The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department confirmed that officers responded to a burglary call at the luxury hotel on Sunset Boulevard after a female celebrity’s belongings were gone from a secured locker, PEOPLE reported.
The investigation remains ongoing and officers are currently reviewing security footage to identify any possible leads, though a ‘forced entry’ doesn’t appear to be the case, some sources mentioned.
The Emily in Paris actress and writer/director Charlie McDowell made their relationship Instagram official in August 2019, before announcing their engagement in October 2020. A year later, Collins finally tied the knot with McDowell in September 2021.
While Collins posted a photo of her unique ring on social media, the director also shared the exciting news with a photo of his fiance flashing her ring. “I will forever cherish my adventure with you,” he captioned the post.
McDowell is the son of actor Malcolm McDowell and actress Mary Steenburgen. He received a series of congratulations on his engagement post. Jewellery designer Irene Neuwirth also commented on his photo with a string of red heart emojis.

In response, while the director thanked Neuwirth “for making the most beautiful ring”, Collins also expressed her gratitude. A representative for the jewellery designer confirmed her engagement ring is a “one-of-a-kind rose-cut diamond”.
