Liverpool will be without some of their biggest stars including Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk for Wednesday’s Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven.

Big names like Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker, Ibrahima Konaté, Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, and Luis Díaz will also stay in Merseyside.
The Reds are currently top of their Champions League group and cannot finish lower than second. This makes it a good chance to give players a break and keep them fresh.
On Tuesday, Slot spoke about the busy schedule, saying, “It’s a chance for players to get some freshness back.”
Liverpool, who lead the Premier League, will be back in action on Saturday with an away game against seventh-place Bournemouth.
