‘Modern Family’ actress Sofia Vergara features in VIA Riyadh promo video

Sofia Vergara, a Colombian and American actress and model who rose to fame with the American sitcom ‘Modern Family’, has been featured in a promotional video for the VIA Riyadh luxury destination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Turki Al-Sheikh, a Saudi adviser at the Royal Court and the Chairman of the General Authority for Entertainment, revealed that the “Modern Family” actress had been featured in a promo video. He also posted a video on Twitter on Monday. In the video, Sofía Margarita Vergara was seen talking on her mobile phone and saying, “I’ll have to go shopping.”
In the video, the 50-year-old actress was seen arriving at Michelin-starred restaurants and relaxing at a luxury cinema. She was seen promoting VIA Riyadh. She said, “Shine like a star, don’t forget to spoil yourself a bit, VIA Riyadh is the place to be.”
The American actress always comes to the Kingdom. She also attended the red carpet of the 2023 Joy Awards in Riyadh, the Capital of Saudi Arabia, in January. Later on, she also went to Saudi Arabia for the Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo reunion friendly match between Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr and Paris Saint-Germain in the Riyadh Season Cup.
VIA Riyadh features restaurants, a luxury cinema, the St. Regis hotel, the state of the art cinemas and elite shopping outlets. It offers exceptional hospitality, accommodation and services to the people. It is located near the Ritz-Carlton.
VIA Riyadh was officially opened in mid-February. It officially took 20 months to complete the construction of the area of VIA Riyadh. Various ministers, officials and ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom attended the inauguration ceremony of VIA Riyadh.
