The Arabic Slate of 2026 Is Here — Netflix Drops Love, Heat, Drama
Netflix has revealed its 2026 Arabic slate. Netflix MENA is lining up returning reality shows with new scripted titles across romance, crime, comedy, and psychological horror. The official slate announcement landed on January 19, 2026.
What’s in the 2026 Arabic slate
Reality stays front and centre. Love Is Blind: Habibi returns for Season 2, after an Emmy nomination, and Dubai Bling is set for Season 4, so the social chatter is guaranteed. Familiar faces come back, plus new arrivals meant to shake up the circle.
Scripted titles add the range:
- From the Ashes: The Pit (film): three former friends trapped after a schoolyard collapse, with pressure, guilt, and old fights resurfacing
- AlKhallat+ (series): the franchise shifts into a series with four desert-set stories and new directorial debuts
- Chasing Shadows (series): a con artist chased by a relentless detective, clean cat-and-mouse tension
- Love in Slow Motion (film): Noor Alghandour and Ali Kakooli lead a rom-com built around a best friend’s sudden engagement
- Obsess (series): Yagoub Alfarhan and Haya Abdel Salam headline psychological horror that keeps bending reality
Love in Slow Motion also follows Noor Alghandour’s earlier Netflix hit, Honeymoonish.
The tone swing is the point. Glam reality sits next to crime games, then a horror series that lingers. It feels like Netflix wants variety, not one safe lane.
One title already has a date
The National lists From the Ashes: The Pit for January 22, while the rest of the slate still sits on TBC. That gap keeps fans guessing, and it keeps trailers trending. Official Netflix MENA post.
