Red Sea Announces Film Projects For Development Funding
The Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia has picked 12 films from emerging Arab and African filmmakers for its development programme, the Red Sea Lodge, which is run in association with TorinoFilmLab and funded by the Film AlUla film commission.
The Lodge, a 10-month mentorship programme, is also accepting African projects in addition to Saudi and Arab ones.
Winners will get a share of the $200,000 in prizes that will be given out during the festival’s December 2023 edition.
