Between mid-June and early September southern Oman’s Salalah is dramatically transformed during Khareef. While the rest of the Middle East is facing hot summer days, Salalah is a refreshing, green paradise, attracting visitors in search of relief and natural beauty.

Khareef which is the Arabic word for “autumn” is a monsoon wind that brings fog, light rains and a cool climate to the Dhofar area.
