Syria Eagle Hills Deal Launches Multi-Billion Urban and Tourism Development

The framework agreement between Eagle Hills, the UAE-based real estate developer, and the Syrian government was signed on October 5, 2026, thus commencing large-scale urban and touristic developments in the country. Syria Eagle Hills deal, The deal will play an essential role in Syria’s post-war reconstruction, bringing investments worth $20 billion into the country.

The Damascus and Latakia Projects

The agreement was signed in the presence of President Ahmad al-Sharaa and Emirati billionaire Mohamed Alabbar with two major projects duly confirmed straight away. According to Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the agreement initiated the development of the “Tadamon Towers” in the capital city of Syria and the “Eco Life” project on the seaside. 

These projects Grand Damascuss and Latakia are intended to create all-inclusive residential communities, luxury villas, commercial real estate, and high-end tourism in Syria. In the case of Latakia the development includes a deep-water terminal for yachts and boats, beaches and tourist promenades.

Accelerating Syria Urban Development – Syria Eagle Hills deal

This deal makes the UAE an important figure in the restoration of the country’s infrastructure. The announcement of a huge amount of private-sector investments made by Al-Monitor is said to be a clear sign of commitment to urban development in modern Syria. Besides, Gulf News informs that Alabbar, chairman at Emaar Properties, ensures that Syrian companies will take part in these projects.

Overall, this cooperation is expected to change the economic situation in the country, creating numerous job opportunities for qualified people.
