There has been an increase in female entrepreneurs in Qatar, due to the fact that many of the most successful initiatives were spearheaded by women. They continue to inspire people around the world with their vision and make a difference in society.

1. Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al Thani
Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al Thani is regarded as one of Qatar’s most prominent female figures.
She was the chairperson of Qatar Foundation’s Education City project, which was established in Qatar in 1997.
As the Honorary Chair for Fashion Trust Arabia, she is also a strong advocate for emerging fashion designers from the Arab region. It launched in September 2018, under her patronage.
2. Sheikha Hanadi bint Nasser Al Thani
Sheikha Hanadi, a Qatari woman who is well-known for being one of the most successful, is the founder and CEO of AL Waab City Real Estate.
She also serves as Vice Chairman of Nasser bin Khaled Al-Thani& Sons Group. Q-Auto is the Founding Chairperson of INJAZ Qatar.
She is both a successful businesswoman as well as a philanthropist and is an important figure in the business world.

3. Buthaina Al Ansari
Buthaina Al-Ansari, one of Qatar’s most prominent business women, is the founder of Tamkeen Training and Consulting Solutions.
This company facilitates the advancement of Qatari women in the workforce through three main segments: training, development and business.
Al Ansari is also a member of MENA’s business women networks, a board member for Qatar’s business women’s association, and a mentor for the Qatar professional women network circle.
4. Aysha Al-Mudahka
Aysha Al Mudahka is the chief executive of Qatar Business Incubation Center. It is the largest mixed-use incubator in the Middle East.
She also founded the Roudha Centre which encourages women’s entrepreneurship.
5. Dr. Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari
As part of Qatar Biobank’s medical research initiative, Her Excellency Dr. Hanan Al Kuwari was recognized as the managing director of Hamad Medical Corporation.
This is Qatar’s largest hospital. She also took her place in the government in 2016, after the hospital was transformed into an academic medical center.
