Trump-Netanyahu Meeting Sparks Controversy Over Gaza

Donald Trump said that the US will “take over” the Gaza Strip. This statement came after the meeting in the White House between Trump and Netanyahu. 

While talking to the reporters and journalists in a press conference with Israeli PM Netanyahu Trump said the US will rebuild Gaza. He shared his bright plans of creating jobs, housing, and economic growth in the region of Gaza. Trump showed his postivite attitude towards rebuilding Gaza. Trump: “The US will take over the Gaza Strip and do a job with it. We’ll own it.”

But the controversy started after Trumo’s stand about Gaza. In this press conference, Trump also added that ‘Palestinians should move to other countries like Egypt and Jordan.’

During the press conference, Netanyahu was present on the stage and he praised the idea of Trump. Israeli PM stated, “The greatest friend Israel has ever had.”

Supporters are taking this as a bold and positive move towards save humanity, but critics are arguing Trump is trying to make the Middle East suffer. They rejected the idea of resettling Palestinians in Egypt and Jordan. Critics are arguing that People of Palestine deserve to return home.
