Türkiye Hosts Pakistan for Ayyıldız-2025 Special Forces Naval Training

Ayyıldız-2025 naval exercises

The Ayyıldız-2025 Naval Special Forces Training Exercise has begun in Istanbul with Türkiye and Pakistan. This is another step in the long military relationship between the two countries. The exercise brings together top groups from both sides to improve how well they can work together, get ready for possible threats at sea, and react well to changing security threats in the area.

This year’s version focuses on modern naval warfare, coastal defence, and combined tactical operations. This shows that maritime security has become more important in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Arabian Sea, and nearby waters.

Concentrate on working together with Special Forces and improving your advanced maritime skills

The Ayyıldız-2025 exercise includes joint drills between Türkiye’s SAT/SAS Naval Special Forces and Pakistan Navy’s Special Service Group (Navy). These groups are well known for their key role in anti-terrorism, hostage rescue, operations underwater, and piracy prevention.

Amphibious landings, boarding ships, underwater demolition, surveillance, and working together on the surface are all covered in the training courses. The goal of these drills is to make sure that both navies can work together without any issues on real tasks, from responding to problems at sea to making sure important shipping lanes are safe.

Making Strategic Relationships Stronger During Global Security Problems

Turkey and Pakistan have been strategic partners for many years, with each country helping the other in areas like military training, technology, and diplomacy. Ayyıldız-2025 makes this partnership stronger at a time when tensions are rising in the maritime world because of geopolitical competition, fights over land, and the growing importance of energy supply lines.

The drill strengthens Türkiye’s position as a regional security actor that can lead important joint operations. For Pakistan, it is a chance to work with a friend who gives training tools and experience working in difficult maritime settings.

Increasing Defence Cooperation

Both nations have said that they want to increase their military interactions with each other and with other countries in the coming years. Besides the training, people are talking about how to work together more on defence technologies like building ships, drone systems, and tools for naval surveillance.
As Ayyıldız-2025 moves forward, it not only shows how important tactics are but also the shared goals of Türkiye and Pakistan in a quickly changing world: boosting maritime safety, protecting areas that aren’t owned by either country, and strengthening military connections.
