US Open 2025 Day 11 Schedule: Matches, Courts, and Timings
Day 11 of the US Open 2025 is here on Friday, August 29. The third round is well underway at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, and we are likely in for fireworks with Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Emma Raducanu, and Aryna Sabalenka on the court. The day session begins at 12:00 p.m. local time, while the night session starts at 7:00 p.m., so Flushing Meadows will be buzzing until late in the evening.
Arthur Ashe Stadium
As the world’s largest tennis stadium, we will have some blockbusters.
Match #1 (11:30 a.m.) – Carlos Alcaraz vs. Luciano Darderi
We can expect Alcaraz, hailing from Spain, to be a heavy favorite, and the only possibility of him extending his terrific run is if Darderi comes out swinging and finds a way to take the fight to Alcaraz.
Match #2 (Afternoon) – Novak Djokovic vs. Cameron Norrie
Djokovic is chasing a record 25th Grand Slam and has the tricky Norrie from Great Britain on the other side of the net. Expect the Ashe crowd to see some long, extended rallies and some moments of brilliance.
Louis Armstrong Stadium
Louis Armstrong will also host some of the hottest matches of the day.
Match #3 (11:00 a.m.) – Emma Raducanu vs. Elena Rybakina
Raducanu, having recently come back from almost two years on the sidelines, has a tough test against Rybakina, a Grand Slam champion and known serve generator.
Match #4 (Afternoon) – Aryna Sabalenka vs. TBD
Sabalenka is the defending champ who dramatically left last year’s tournament and sees unfinished business in New York. During her match, we can expect a lot of action. Sabalenka is an aggressive baseline player and can dominate both with her serve and ground strokes.
Other Courts to Watch
The day is not over, and does not have to end on the main show courts; outer courts will also potentially be bursting with talent and fan favorites.
Coco Gauff continues to bring interest as she will continue her campaign against another tough opponent.
Jannik Sinner, who won last year, is looking for success as he defends his title and moves into the next round.
Tommy Paul returns after a dramatic five-set thriller of a match against Nuno Borges, and while he wants to maintain that momentum, we will see how things play out.
Outer courts will have exact match numbers as well via the official US Open “Order of Play” that is released daily.
Atmosphere and Anticipation
As we enter the pivotal middle stages of the tournament, Flushing Meadows is absolutely buzzing. Day 11 features a mix of experience and youth – no player exemplifies this better than Djokovic vs Alcaraz. Both players are drawing equal levels of support from their fans. The night session should deliver its own drama under the lights – something the US Open always delivers with its electricity.
Who doesn’t love an action-packed tournament day running all day and into the night? From filled stadiums to roaring fans, today’s tennis schedule offers a little something for everyone: superstars going head to head, possible upsets, and riveting storylines that could shape the rest of the tournament.
One thing is certain: Day 11 of the US Open 2025 will not disappoint with drama, breadth of emotion, intensity, and world-class tennis. With Alcaraz, Raducanu, Djokovic, Sabalenka, Gauff, and Sinner, fans are in for a blockbuster Friday in New York.
