Whose Is Terrorizing Palestinians In West Bank?
West Bank is swimming in violence. A new form of terrorism is at play. One cannot define the terrorist anymore. At times, it’s the armed forces itself or the settlers that are preventing the Palestinians from finding peace and ownership of what they can call as their own land.
It is an unidentifiable enemy here. The farmers of the South Hebron Hills also face attacks by settlers; and even the armed groups of Jenin Camp have to brave nightly raids.
Houses are being razed and demolished at will. Soldiers participate and leave families on the roads without shelter. The aim- throw all Palestinians out of West Bank, by hook or crook. A media report shares how two placards stand just a few yards back up the dirt track. The first is a sign which reads “Humanitarian Support to Palestinians at Risk of Forcible Transfer in the West Bank,” with the logos of 11 European Union government aid agencies.
This expression of international support now holds little value as a deterrent for the settlers, for above it is displayed a portrait of Harum Abu Aram, aged 26 who lost his life to such heinous hate and racist crimes.

Settlers are teaming up with soldiers, come masked ready to attack farmers. They break into their houses, and physically assault them as well. And then there is forced detention and more harassment over bail money to be paid- all to ensure the pressure is so much that West Bank has no trace of Palestinian life left and people can feel and see only an Israel connection.
This generation of farmers are younger- more informed, determined, speak English, use the internet and therefore willing to put up a strong fight. Israelis are using settlers to get their job done. There is systematic wiping out of agriculture land and building and construction as well.
A more solid roadmap is being set in order there is no trace of Palestinian life and culture left. It’s a strange manner of genocide happening; its just that one can’t see it happening all together.
