The National Police detain 3 people, one of them integrated into the terrorist organization DAESH

After the circulation of video material relating to the decapitation of the American war correspondentJames Wright Foley, MI6 focused on three suspected jihadists that could connect to the executioner nicknamed Jihadi John. It’s therefore assumed that Abdel Bary is the colleague of John nicknamed “George”, part of the British-born terrorist cell known as ‘the Beatles’. Only in February 2015 it was reported that Jihadi John was actually the London-Kuwaiti computer scientist Mohammed Emwazi. Later in July of the same year some sources claimed that Bary had fled to Turkey after leaving ISIS ranks.Rest to understand how from Turkey he illegally came back to Europe. It cannot be excluded that he did it by infiltrating migrants in Greece, or even more likely that he arrived in Europe via Libya.

Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary’ music was played bythe UK’s Official Chart on Radio 1 until 2013, when the rapper left his family home, announcing that he was leaving everything for the sake of Allah. Soon after Abdel Bary uploaded an image of himself on Facebook holding up a cut off human head with the description: “Chilling’ with my homie or what’s left of him”. Many foreign fighters whom travelled to Syria, like the jihadi rapper, continued for years to upload photos showing severed heads taken in a part of Syria controlled by Daesh and other organizations – supported by Turkey – fighting against the legitimate government of Bashar al-Assad. Facebook administration initially refused to delete the images, saying they did not contravene its guidelines. It later blocked the material after being contacted by other Governments institutions and counter-terrorism organizations.
