Gatherings exceeding 50 people will remain in place. These restrictions will be followed during weddings and funerals. According to the SPA, lockdown will be lifted entirely from 21 June. From 28 May, all places, except Mecca, will have COVID19 curfew only from 3 pm – 6 am. The authorities will allow usual and Friday prayers at the Al-Haram Al-Sharif Mosque from 31 May. The domestic flight ban will also be lifted. However, the ban on international flights and travel will continue until the next announcement is made. According to the latest count, there are 74,795 cases of novel corona in the Arab nation. There have been close to 400 related fatalities. About 2,000 new cases are reported from the country daily. To fight COVID, the government had imposed a 24-hour curfew in the country. It was relaxed during the holy month of Ramadaan. Strict measures were also imposed again during the Eid-ul-Fitr, which was celebrated yesterday.
