Israel Announces Hezbollah Leader’s Death in Lebanon Strike
Israel claimed earlier today through a statement posted on its official Telegram Channel that it had killed Abu Ali Rida who is a Hezbollah commander in the southern Lebanon region of Baraachit. There has been no external verification of the claims.
It said that he was in charge of southern Lebanon’s Baraachit region. He has been described by the IDF as “responsible for planning and executing rocket and anti-tank missile attacks on IDF troops.”
Since 1st of October Israel’s military has been conducting operations into Lebanon under the aim of fighting Hezbollah.
The IDF also earlier today claimed that it killed another commander in the anti-tank missile system of the Hezbollah Radwan force naming him as Riad Rida Ghazzawi and said that he “planned and executed a significant amount of terrorist attacks including firing anti-tank missiles at Israeli civilians and at IDF troops operating in southern Lebanon.”
