SPL Week 11: Al Ittihad Takes the Lead as Al Hilal and Al Nassr Stumble

The Saudi Pro League saw a big change in its Week 11 as Al Ittihad is on top of the table, capitalizing on surprise losses by heavyweights Al Hilal and Al Nassr.
Al Ittihad secured a strong 4-2 win over Al Fateh. Moroccan striker Abderrazzaq Hamdallah was the star scoring twice and bringing his season total to 16 goals. His outstanding performance makes him the second-highest scorer in SPL history. This was the moment that led to the success in this season.
Surprising Defeats of Al Hilal and Al Nassr
In a surprising turn of events Al Hilal the defending champions who were unbeaten lost 1-0 to Al Qadsiah in a close match. At the same time Al Nassr even with superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, lost 2-1 to Al Ettifaq. These surprising defeats helped Al Ittihad take the lead in the standings with a two-point advantage.
For fans Week 11 is a reminder that nothing is predictable in the SPL!
