Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty to Visit India on February 6-7

The Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Badr Abdelatty plans his India trip for February 6-7. The visit works to improve the diplomatic relations that exist between Egypt and India because their countries have done successful joint projects together before.

Dr. Abdelatty arrives in New Delhi in early February 6th to join President Droupadi Murmu for his morning meeting at Rashtrapati Bhavan. He will honor Gandhi’s memory by placing a floral tribute at the Government Estate. He will meet S. Jaishankar at Hyderabad House prior to leaving India before dawn on February 7th.

Since ancient times both Egypt and India as ancient civilizations have fostered strong diplomatic ties between them. The foundation of their diplomatic relationship started with Jawaharlal Nehru and President Nasser during the present times. During his June 2023 state visit to Egypt PM Modi received the designation of a Strategic Partnership. During discussions with their leadership, the nations exchanged views about significant global problems, particularly Israel-Hamas clashes. Dr. Abdelatty’s visit reaffirms the strong diplomatic engagement between India and Egypt.
