Al-Ahli Advances to AFC Champions League Elite Final 2025!

To etch their names in the history of AFC Champions League Elite Al-Ahli have advanced to the finals by defeating their opponents Al-Hilal in the semi finals which took place at King Abdullah Sports City. The game was led with the complete dominance of Al-Ahli who took the team forward with an early goal at the 9th minute by Roberto Firmino, which was followed by Ivan Toney’s second goal for his team at 27th minute.
But Al-Hilal’s Salem Al-Dawsari gave a reply goal just before the half time but it didn’t help his team after that. Because Al-Ahli’s third goal at the 85th minute became the winning goal of their team and they officially entered into the finals for the second time. Previously they appeared in the 2012 final against the Ulsan Hyundai of South Korea and they finished as runner-up with the defeat 3-0.
So, their ardent followers are looking up to their team to be crowned as the champions of their first continental title. The final will take place on 3 May 2025 at the same venue but the opponent will be revealed only after the end of another semi-final between Al-Nassr and Japan’s Kawasai on 30 April 2025.
