Lauren Sanchez is a 53-year-old former broadcast journalist and entertainment reporter who gained media attention as the partner of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

Born in 1969 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Sanchez worked as a news anchor and co-hosted the Good Day LA morning show from 2011 to 2017. She has also appeared in films such as The Longest Yard, Flight Club, and Ted 2.
Sanchez holds a helicopter pilot license and in 2016, she launched her own company called Black Ops Aviation, which specializes in aerial film and production.
Sanchez’s relationship with Jeff Bezos became public in 2019 after Bezos’ divorce from his first wife, MacKenzie Scott.
Prior to her relationship with Bezos, Sanchez was married to Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell, with whom she shares two children named Ella and Evan.
She also has a 22-year-old son named Nikko from her previous relationship with former NFL player Tony Gonzalez.

Although specific details about the engagement have not been disclosed, a source close to the couple confirmed that they are indeed engaged. Bezos and Sanchez arrived at the festival on a luxurious $500 million yacht, accompanied by another support yacht named Abeona, which carried various amenities such as supercars, motorcycles, and even helicopters.

The couple attended a magazine party and a private screening of the film ‘Killers Of The Flower Moon’ starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert de Niro.
