As we are getting back to normalcy after the pandemic and getting back to our daily routine, once we are getting a weekend off, we all want to sit at home and watch something interesting. Usually, we star TV or TV and scroll through the channels to find something interesting to watch. But sometimes we don’t find anything attractive and just switch off the TV and go to bed.
Though we have many options and attractive headlines on Netflix, we find it difficult to select any particular TV show or movie to watch. In my view, I say- ‘Trends attract many, but not all’.

It has already been renewed for season 2 after airing only two episodes. The show takes place 20 years after a global pandemic where we follow a smuggler named Pedro Pascal who is accused of transporting a teenage girl – Bella Ramsay – to the desolate United States.
2. Shotgun Wedding
The premiere is now on Prime Videos, and the director of Pitch Perfect is bringing Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel for the action-packed Shotgun Wedding. The movie is presenting a gorgeous setting, funny one-offs, and A-list hit stars. This is one movie night not to be missed. Be ready for it!

3. Cobra Kai
Cobra Kai will air its sixth and final season later this year. Although fans of The Karate Kid sequel series may be mourning that this is the last season and it’s ending now. But the last season is coming soon which is a reason to celebrate.

You guys are a story of an interracial couple as they begin dating and try to strike a balance when their families meet for the first time. It has a 4.5-star review.
It can be a good choice for a popcorn and home kind of weekend.
5. Poker Face
It is a new TV show by Rian Jhonson. The star girl who is attracting people is the Russian Doll, Natasha Lyonne. It is described as a mystery-of-the-week series. Johnson’s murder mystery films are quite similar of it. A complete package of murder mysteries that you can enjoy on your weekend.
6. The 1619 Project
It was launched in 2019 by journalists from The New York Times and NYT Magazine. An attempt to reshape the country’s history by placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of black Americans at the center of the United States national narrative.
The work collected by these journalists is being further explored in a new 6-part documentary from Hulu. There are many more shows and engaging series that can make your weekend like- M3GAN, Ginny & Georgia, Godless, Hit, and Run, etc. Selecting one from the list can be a good option for you!
