Israel Announces Two-Phase Hostage Release Plan Following Renewed Gaza Conflict
Israel uses Egyptian help to offer two steps for Hamas to free their hostages from Gaza. Under this approach, Hamas must free 11 living hostages and 16 individuals who have died, while a period of peace would begin for 40 days. Under the second phase, Hamas needs to let all held hostages go at once.
Despite this news, Israel started fighting again yesterday after 19 days of peaceful time. Israeli military forces enter Gaza as Hamas fires rockets, but most of these missiles are shot down by Israel. The US government backs Israel by using the present military advantage to push Hamas.
The Security Cabinet in Israel is examining Defense Minister Israel Katz’s idea of creating an organization to help Gaza residents migrate to other nations voluntarily. According to official security information, multiple surveys indicate that 50% of Gaza people want to move elsewhere, with 90% of college graduates showing a strong desire to partake. Today, Katz warned Gaza residents by saying their departure will start shortly and they must force Hamas to leave.
