The final FIFA World Cup 2022 match will be played at the Lusail Stadium in Doha which will be a week before Christmas on Sunday, 18th December 2022.

During the group stage, which lasts for 12 days and features four matches, the winners and runners-up advance to the round of 16.
On December 17, there will be a third-place play-off match, unlike at Euro 2020. The first two rounds of competition will begin at 1, 4, 7, and 10 o’clock local time (10am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm in the United Kingdom).
Matches in the knockout round and the final round of group play will begin at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time, respectively (3pm and 7pm UK time). The championship match is set to begin at 6 p.m. local time (3pm UK time).
