Netflix Sets Release Date for Egyptian Football Film ‘El Hareefa

Netflix has revealed the release of El-Hareefa II: El-Remontada on June 16, marking the continuation of its summer programming as it tries to reach as many fans as it can in summer. The film follows the story of a young football team, after winning a championship, as they begin their transition into university, while navigating changing personal and athletic relationships.
New players join the team and offer new dynamics both in their football adventure and activities on campus.

The film presents the exciting cast of new ‘young stars’ including Nour al-Nabawy, Ahmed Ghazy, Kozbara, Nour Ehab, Donna Emam, Nourine Abu-Saada, and Salim al-Turk, the screenplay, written by Emad Saleh and directed by Karim Saad. The sequel also features popular television personalities Asser Yassin, Ahmed Fahmy, and Asmaa Galal in guest appearances.
