New Renewable Projects: Egypt Targets $2 Billion Private Sector Investments

Under the direction of Ashraq Business, a government official reports Egypt requires $2 billion worth of private sector investments for renewable power projects during the following twenty-four months. The company plans to bring in private funds through BOO projects from Egypt’s local and international investors to develop renewable power infrastructure.

Before summer 2025 the Ministry of Electricity and Energy expects 3 GW of new solar and wind power projects to begin operating. The government established this approach to solve summer power issues and bring reliable revenue results through long-term agreements for project power purchases.

Renewable energy firms from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, and the Netherlands-United Arab Emirates work in Egypt through influential partnerships. The playing companies will help Egypt reach its power goals by integrating renewable energy systems.
