Palestinians Paying Lives to a Cold-Hearted, Apathetic World

Nearly 2,000 Palestinians, including 583 children, have been killed in the Israel-Hamas war and hundreds of thousands are fleeing their homes amid fear of more inhumane and deadly assault. Palestinians are crying blood, shedding tears to a cold-hearted, apathetic world.

The United States, UK and European countries have taken sides with Israel. The UN is calling for a ceasefire and urging for humanitarian corridors to be opened up, while the West looks on unmoved. No concerns for Palestinian civilians. Israel has cut all water, food, fuel and medical supplies to Gaza, depriving the Palestinians of essentials.

Those taking sides with Palestinians are being labeled terrorists and pro-Hamas, as Israel continues to pound Gaza. George Santos, a US Republican lawmaker, called out anti-Israeli protesters as terrorist sympathizer and human scum.

Palestinians Genocide

Palestinians are constantly under attack. And this time, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have nowhere to go, amid Egypt and Israel blockade. US’s Republican leaders are referring to Palestinians as “savages that have to be eradicated”.

The Western countries support for Israel has emboldened the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). It encouraged the Israeli defense minister to describe the Palestinians as “human animals”. Israeli leaders threaten to turn Gaza into a deserted island, or a city of tents.

Western democracies, especially the United States, believe Israel is incapable of committing atrocities by virtue of who they are. The current war broke out because of IDF’s atrocities and human rights violations in Palestine and Al Aqsa mosque which has been overlooked by the US and Europe. Now Israel is on a rampage for vengeance, a payback.

There’s a humanitarian disaster waiting to explode on an unimaginable scale.

Palestinians Pushed to Evacuate

Now Israel is forcing more than one million Palestinians to evacuate the north of Gaza so that its forces can flush out Hamas militants. Israel gave 24 hours for the evacuation on Friday, and that time has run out. Eyad al-Bozom, a spokesperson for Hamas’ interior ministry, said they have told the people to stay put in their homes. “By carrying out massacres against the civilians, the occupation wants to displace us once again from our land. The 1948 displacement will not happen. We will die and we will not leave.”

The world is watching as to what Israel will do. Questions are being asked about the hostages taken by Hamas. Will the militants use hostages and civilians as human shields? Will Israel bomb the place?
