Qatar is set to host the 2025 World Table Tennis Championships from May 17 to 25

With the biggest names in table tennis ready to shine in Doha, the city is gearing up for the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals 2025, scheduled for May 17-25. The two-decade gap had seen the return of the championships to Doha, which made an indelible mark back in 2004 as the First Middle Eastern City to host the event.
Five Categories; Nine Days of Action
This championship will see the best players in the world compete in five main events:
- Men’s Singles
- Women’s Singles
- Men’s Doubles
- Women’s Doubles
- Mixed Doubles
Each singles event comprises 128 players, and each doubles event comprises 64 pairs. The singles matches will be played best out of seven and the doubles will be best out of five, so expect nail-biting action every day.
Top-Notch Venues
Main matches will be at the Lusail Multipurpose Hall, a modern, world-class sports arena, with additional matches taking place in the Qatar University Sports Complex during the first four days.
