In the Premier League tournament, one of the football clubs in the world with a larger number of ardent fans is Manchester City. On 3 May 2025, they played against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 35th round of Premier League 2024-2025. And Manchester City registered their victory 1-0 against them successfully, but still the fans of Manchester expressed their dissatisfaction towards the player of their favourite club.
Omar Marmoush though he showcased an excellent performance fans felt that he played out of position that hindered his effectiveness. Many believe that Omar thrives when utilized as a winger or in a role that allows him to exploit spaces, rather than being deployed centrally. The manager of MC club Pep Guardiola has expressed his view that Marmoush had shown his potential but still there are areas in his game that need to be improved and align with the team’s dynamics.
Some of the issues within the club, the uneven ticket pricing & fans protest over this have led to the lowest attendants of fans in the Etihad Stadium for the recent years.
