Sadio Mane agrees personal terms with Saudi Al Nassr
Sadio Mane, a popular Senegalese professional football player who plays as a forward for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich, has agreed a deal in principle to join Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr.
According to reports and sources, Sadio Mane is ready to join the Al-Nassr club. According to L’Equipe, he agreed on personal terms with the Saudi Pro League club.
The former Liverpool star will reportedly join Cristiano Ronaldo at the Saudi club. He has been holding talks with the Saudi club for the past three weeks.
Al-Nassr was in talks with the representative of Sadio Mane to sign the footballer as Cristiano Ronaldo’s strike partner. The Saudi FC contacted Bayern to discuss the transfer of Mane to the Al Nassr club. After several rounds of talks, Bayern gave permission to Al Nassr FC to speak to Mane.
Earlier this month, Al-Nassr’s CEO Ahmed Al-Ghamdi held talks with Sadio Mane’s representative Bjorn Bezemer in Mallorca, Spain.
Meanwhile, Al Nassr is settling a debt with Leicester City to lift the ban and sign new players. The Senegalese footballer will remain at Bayern Munich unless Al-Nassr’s ban is lifted.
In January, Al-Nassr signed football star Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo and the Al Nassr club signed a contract for 214 million dollars. Subsequently, Ronaldo was unveiled as an Al-Nassr player at the Mrsool Park stadium in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Sports Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal lauded the move.
In recent months, Saudi football clubs have been signing famous footballers from all over the world. Recently, Seko Fofana, a professional footballer and Ivory Coast midfielder, signed with the Al Nassr club. Saudi Professional League club Al Nassr wrote on Twitter, “Al Nassr has officially signed with the Ivorian star Seko Fofana.”
Earlier, Marcelo Brozovic, Ghislain Konan, and David Ospina joined the club.
